Great Blue Heron that likes to visit our fish pond for a fast food meal.
King Kong sunflower - was supposed to get 13 feet tall but I think it only made it to about 11 feet.

Champion Laurel Oak Next Door
These are pictures from an article in the Virginian-Pilot about the tree next door to us. It is 300 years old, 25 feet around and 83 feet tall and is the largest laurel oak recorded in the United States. The limbs are as big as trees. PDF of Pilot Article
